These classes are designed for students that are familiar with the proper alignment of postures. Added to many of the standard postures are more challenging ones, Headbalance (Salamba Sirsasana), Forearm Balance (Pinca Mayurasana), Upward Bow (Urdhva Dhanurasana), and Shoulderstand (Salamba Sarvangasana). Modifications are always taught to accommodate the many levels of the students in attendance.
You will learn individual yoga postures. We take one pose at a time, focusing on anatomical alignment. You will learn foundational yoga postures that can be modified to work with your ability. We focus on what you CAN do, and not what you may not be able to do...yet! Great for seniors, those new to yoga, or people with injuries. All Levels are welcome.
Chakra is the Sanskrit word for wheel. According to Yogic philosophy, we have seven chakras (energy wheels) that start at the base of the spine and ascend to the crown of the head. In this class, a sequence of yoga postures that will activate and balance your chakras are practiced. Classes will fluctuate between concentrating on one, several, or all seven chakras. All levels welcome.

Restorative yoga is a form of yoga that seeks to achieve physical, mental, and emotional relaxation with the aid of props. Props are used to support the body in order for you to hold poses for longer; which allows you to open your body through passive stretching. In this class, stations are set for students to round robin to enjoy each restorative pose.
Pranayama (yogic breath work) may also be practiced.
Yoga is practiced barefoot.
